Three Tips To Help You Land Your Next Job

Three Tips To Help You Land Your NextAre you ready for a new adventure?  Use these proven tips to help you get any opportunity that you want.  These quick three tips will help you ace your next job interview.  Good luck!

1. Know What You Are Going To Say

Just because you have an impressive resume doesn’t mean you are a shoe in to get the job for which you are applying.  The resume is the ticket in the door, and now YOU need to seal the deal.

The night before your big interview take some time to practice some of the most asked interview questions.  Here is a good list to use during your practice (it even includes a strategy for answering each question).

Grab a friend, and ask him/her to ask you these questions, so you can practice.  Having a real person in front of you is the best way to get the feel of formulating your answers in front of someone.  If you can’t find anyone who is willing to help you, practice your answers in front of the mirror or a group of your stuffed animals.

2. Make Eye Contact During Your Interview

The best way to earn someone’s trust is to look him or her in the eyes when you speak.  The reason for this is two-fold.  First, your potential employer is using the opportunity to gauge your comfort level with job position for which you are applying.  Second, your potential employer is deciding whether or not you, personally, would be a good fit in the employment environment.  If you don’t look the interviewer in the eyes, he or she will not be able to get a good feel of either one.

3. Look the Part

You should dress up for a job interview.  Period.  A job interview is your introduction to the employer.  You should look like someone who is capable of doing the necessary job duties.  If you don’t clean yourself up, your potential employer might wonder if you are going to do a sloppy job.  Seem superficial?  Well, it is actually.  Prior to actually doing a job, a potential employer only has superficial cues to go from, especially if you don’t have any prior work experience or are switching careers.

With these quick tips, you will have a head start on acing your next job interview.  One final thought, you can do anything that YOU want to.  You just need to believe in yourself.

If all else fails, bat your beautiful eye lashes, because eventually you will find the right fit for YOU!  (Need some help with those lashes?  Go to:
